What is your data protection process?
Candidate CVs are submitted to our employer partners on the understanding that they will not be forwarded to third parties.
When can I contact the candidate direct?
Contact with all candidates must remain through WorkSmart until an employment offer is confirmed.
What do you need from my business?
We require written confirmation from you that employment has commenced.
What next after employment has commenced?
At week 26 of the candidate’s employment, you must confirm in writing whether the individual is still employed with you.

I had the opportunity of meeting the staff from WorkSmart a number of months ago. I knew very little about the scheme before I met the staff. I attended at one of their Sites and spoke to several of the candidates who were part of the programme. I was extremely impressed with the opportunities being afforded to the candidates who had, for one reason or another, been unable to secure employment.
This scheme demonstrated the opportunities available to people who had confidence issues and who needed to build on their current skills and give them a sense of worth. It is clear to me, working in recruitment, that it is often difficult for people to return to employment if they have been in the unfortunate position of being unable to work for one reason or another for a considerable period of time. WorkSmart not only offer the opportunity of candidates gaining new skills but it offers an environment where the candidate is in effect going to work.
