Take a look at some of our great success stories who, with the help of WorkSmart, found employment or the right talent for their business.

WorkSmart has supported lots of people into work. Take a look for yourself.

Mohammed's Apprentice Success

Having lacked confidence in his abilities, Mo’s outlook on himself and his future prospects completely changed through our Restart programme, which is specifically designed to help people into work. Through two, four-week placements, Mo’s confidence, skills and capabilities flourished and led to him successfully securing an Apprenticeship at Newground ReUse.

Double Employment For Husband & Wife

Emma came to WorkSmart in the hope of finding a customer service role after completing a qualification with Accrington College. This led to discussions about her husband, Boyd, who had an excellent employment history but was struggling to get job interviews. Working closely with the duo, we secured Boyd a permanent warehousing/driving position and Emma a customer service role, all within two months.

Securing New Roles After Redundancy

Being made redundant after 30 years, we helped Stephen back into employment with Bus & Coach World in Blackburn. As well as CV and interview tips, we also helped him to apply for interim benefits and arrange rent payments to reflect his change of employment. The WorkSmart team also attended the interview with Stephen to put him at ease and he was immediately offered the position.

“I want to say a huge thank you to Adam for putting my CV forward for the data cleansing role at LCC. I had an interview yesterday and have been offered the position, so I’m really grateful for your assistance.” – WorkSmart Participant

“A big thank you for the continuous support and help you provide at Newground WorkSmart and ReUse. I’ve seen marked improvement in the jobseekers’ general wellbeing and their motivation has increased massively. Thank you so much and keep up the hard work. You can expect many more referrals from me.” – Accrington Job Centre
